"[Cortes] deserves defeat. The performance of Jaime Cortes has been so applling that [he] doesn't deserve another term in office. Residents deserve public servants who will inspire greater confidence. Beth Villarreal is the best choice over Cortes and two other challengers because she could provide a clean break with the precinct's clouded present. She lives in Oak Cliff and is a patrol and community relations police officer... We believe Villrreal would restore public trust."

I want to thank each and every one of you who voted in the March Primary. It is because of your support I made it into the runoff. I also want to thank all those who came out and voted during the week of early voting for the runoff. With continued efforts to have an honest election, we willl prevail on Tuesday, April 13th. If you haven't yet voted, please go to your polling place on Tuesday April 13rh and vote. I have met many wonderful people throughout this campaign and at the polls.
